Handicap scoring is a way for players with different levels of experience and ability to adjust the starting score, so that both opponents have a fair chance of winning, making the match competitive and fun for all. 

​

Each player must play a match against all other players in groups 1 to 3. 

Each match is to the best of three sets with the final set (if there is one) being a tie-break - first to 10 points.

All tie-breaks must have the relevant handicap applied.

Handicaps explained

Group 1 gives group 2 a 15-0 lead in every game

Group 1 gives group 3 a 30-0 lead in every game

Group 2 gives group 3 a 15-0 lead in every game
